Privacy Policy

1.Summary

This policy explains how Halloween AI ("we", "us") handles information when you use our Halloween portrait and video service at halloween-ai.net (the "Service").

2.Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, profile picture and how you sign in (email or a Google account).
• Content you upload: photos of yourself, other people who have agreed to it, or your pet.
• Content we create for you: the portraits and videos you generate, and the look you chose.
• Purchase records: what you bought, when, the amount and your credit balance. Card details stay with our payment processor.
• Usage information: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and similar technical data. We use it to run, secure and improve the Service.
• Messages you send us: the content of support emails.

3.Your photos

When you press Generate, your photo is sent to our AI generation provider to create the portrait or video. Before that, photos may be checked by an automated content filter to block content that breaks our Terms of Service.

Uploaded photos and results are stored with our cloud storage provider and linked to your account. Full-resolution results are kept in private storage and reached only through short-lived links.

Photos of people are personal data. Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it. Do not upload photos of children unless you are their parent or guardian.

We do not use facial recognition to identify anyone, and we do not create face templates.

4.How long we keep data

Deleting your account removes your photos and results. Deleted files may remain in backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

5.Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what each one needs:

• Cloud hosting and storage (Cloudflare) to run the site and store files.
• AI generation (Kie.ai and the model providers it works with) to create your portraits and videos.
• Content filtering to check uploads before generation.
• Payments (Stripe) to process purchases.
• Email to send sign-in and account messages.
• Analytics (Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz) to understand how the Service is used.

Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect the Service and its users.

6.Cookies and analytics

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your choices.

We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, to understand how people use the Service: pages visited, which looks and features are used, whether a generation or a checkout went through, and device, browser and approximate location. It uses cookies to tell visits apart. We do not send your photos, prompts, email address or card details to it, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.

To opt out, block cookies for halloween-ai.net in your browser settings, or use a browser or extension that blocks analytics and tracking. Blocking analytics does not change what you can do on the Service.

7.Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy policy.

8.Your choices and rights

• Delete any result from My Creations.
• Delete your account in Settings to remove your photos, results and account details.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it.
• Object to or ask us to limit some uses of your data.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9.Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email or on the site.
